Residential Aged Care “On-site” Pharmacists:
Caulfield, Chelsea, Clayton, Croydon, Donvale, Prahran, Templestowe.

Since 1 July 2024, Government funding has been available for:
Pharmacists to work “On-site” in Residential Aged Care Homes (RACH)
To improve the use of medication and safety in the RACH’s
To regularly review medications and promptly issue resolutions.
Integrate with the healthcare team, GP’s, Nurses etc.
It is an interesting and satisfying career!

Several opportunities are available in March and April for Credentialed Pharmacists.

Chelsea 2 Days (15.2 hrs.)
Clayton 3 Days (22.8 hrs.)

Prahran 3 Days (22.8 hrs.)
Templestowe 2 Days (15.2 hrs.)

To be eligible for these positions the minimum qualifications required are:
Completed or currently studying MMR + ACOP training credentials.
Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA
Current Professional indemnity insurance.
Clinical or Aged Care pharmacy experience preferred

Full Induction and orientation support will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the highly skilled team that is truly making a difference in the lives of residents.

ACOP's will be trained and supported to:
Integrate into the RACH healthcare team,
Be readily accessible to RACH staff and residents, and
Increase the understanding of individual resident needs at the RACH.

Income and benefits:
$50.00 – $52.50per hour negotiable per experience
20 days Annual leave as per Pharmacy Award
10 days of personal leave
11.5% Superannuation
15% Staff discount *Conditions apply.
